What You ll Do:
Our UX Engineers focus on dynamic user experience (UX) while also keeping performance at the forefront. They are responsible for building out the UI/Front-End parts of the web experience, including but not limited to performance, accessibility (a11y), usability and look-and-feel. Our customers are internal dev teams who build customer-facing features using the basic building blocks and best practices that we provide.
→Collaborate with team members, particularly design counterparts, to co-develop and solve problems.
→Use opportunities to build new technical expertise in a specific engineering area.
→Understand the importance of system and technology integration and the basic features and facilities involved in the integration process.
→Develop and test standard software applications and related programs and procedures to ensure they meet design requirements.
→Learn to think broadly and understand how, why and when policies/processes are standardized and when they differ across the organization.
→Report clearly on current work status.
→Demonstrate the ability to learn user-centered research and customer-centric engineering practices.
Who You Are:
→Available to start on May 16th, 2022, for a 10 week program
→Graduating in 2023 with a degree in a technical related subject (e.g. Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction)
→Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of partners (e.g., internal, external, technical, non-technical people)
