Eligibility Criteria:-
- Bachelor, Master, or equivalent graduate with experience in Linux (SUSE) administration
- Experience in monitoring tools, e.g. Nagios
- Intermediate in cloud technologies in any of the Open Stack / GCP / ACS / Azure
- Knowledge of Server virtualization and networking is an added advantage
- Experience in Configuration Management: Chef / Ansible
- Good communication and presentation skills
- A Cloud mindset and Innovative thinking are musts. The candidate should be a team player with the ability to quickly analyze and troubleshoot problems. They should be Service and customer-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive working attitude.
- Previous experience in supporting SAP products, understanding of Server/DB and Application tier architecture, and knowledge of Network and Storage is preferable.

Job Description:-
- SAP is looking for an experienced Linux/Unix Administrator within the S/4HANA Cloud Delivery department in Bangalore.
- This department is responsible for the complete life cycle management (planning, production, and operations) of SAP s S/4HANA Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
- As a member of this team, you will be responsible for system and landscape operations and you will be dealing with the newest SAP Cloud Technologies.
Roles Responsibilities:-
- Responsibility for Linux system administration and life cycle management, natively as well as in virtualized environments
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues in the area of Linux OS
- Server installation, configuration, Upgrade: OS Patching / Kernel upgrade management
- Performance tuning on OS level
- Monitoring of productively used servers and systems
- Development and maintenance of scripts for automation (shell, perl, python)
- WILLINGNESS TO WORK IN SHIFTS: 24/7 COVERAGE
Expected Travel:- 0 – 10%
