Dear Sir/Madam,
Through the column of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to highlight how some of us have been ridiculed for poor time management and lack of punctuality. This in turn is affecting the image of our country.
It is high time we learn to respect the time and stick to the deadlines for meetings, projects, school everywhere. Mostly it is seen in government offices and hospitals where employees are only concerned about their salaries at the end of the month. They feel their job is secured and compromise with their work. There should be pay cuts for not adhering to the time. Minimum work hours should be set and biometric punchin should be installed for transparent functioning.
Let us together appeal to the readers to manage time properly and be punctual at work. Let us incorporate these habits in our children from a very young age and lead by example. Lack of punctuality is one of the greatest weaknesses of a developing country.
