Dear Sir,

Through the column of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to highlight my concern about the frequently inadequate supply of electricity in Perambalur which was not so bad in the past.

People are facing a lot of problems due to power cuts because nowadays when the office is working from home and online classes going on, everything is dependent on electrical gadgets. With the increasing dependency on technology, an adequate supply of electricity is very essential.

We need to unite and take some serious steps to conserve energy. Some of the measures that we can take is moving towards renewable resources, buying energy-efficient products (LEDs and CLFs), switch off lights and fans when not in use. Every house should tale energy audit and save energy. 

If these basic doable things are followed in each household we would be able to save energy to a great extent. I hope I could encourage people to understand their responsibility and join hands with the government by doing their bit.
