From the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw your attention to the environmental degradation and pollution in our locality.

I am Rani,Secretary of Harmony Residents’ Welfare Association, Chetna Vihar, Delhi. I would like throw some light upon the environmental degradation faced and its effects on the health and hygiene in our locality. There is huge dumpster just outside our locality, from a few the months the municipality is not cleaning it on regular basis due to this the pests have increased alot and also the danger of dengue has increased. The residents of our locality have noticed a drastic increase in mice and cockroaches in the locality and have also identified dengue mosquito larvas near the dumpster since the last few months. We need to get the dumpster regularly cleaned so that this doesn’t become a health hazard. And also pest controls should be conducted in a regular intervals to avoid diseases.

I would be very grateful to you if you could issue an article addressing this topic in the columns of your esteemed newspaper.
