Specific responsibilities will include:
→Serving as an expert inΒ Anthology sΒ products, including their architecture, functionality, and deployment methodologies
→DesigningΒ and documentingΒ development tasksΒ within system of record
→BuildingΒ web applications with modernΒ Java and TypeScript-JavaScript frameworks
→DevelopingΒ in an agile environment of front-end web technologiesΒ like AngularJS and Foundation
→CreatingΒ applications that work well across browsers and platforms, including responsive design for mobile support.
→GeneratingΒ necessaryΒ unit and integration testingΒ and results to be includedΒ inΒ code reviews
→HelpingΒ to create and maintainingΒ Visual Style guides for Web solutions, driving the corporate UX direction
→AdheringΒ to established delivery methodology, quality standards and best practices
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
→Bachelor s degree inΒ Computer Science, Software EngineeringΒ or equivalent relevantΒ bachelor sΒ degree
→0-2Β yearsΒ ofΒ software development lifecycle and associated processes
→BasicΒ experienceΒ inΒ front-end engineering usingΒ object-orientedΒ JavaScript, Async event management, using JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks like (AJAX, jQuery, Angular,Β Prototype) and NodeJS
→BasicΒ skills atΒ backendΒ engineeringΒ using object orientedΒ Java-Β Spring,Β MongoDB, PostgressΒ and otherΒ libraries and micro frameworks.
→Basic experience inΒ HTML/CSS3
→KnowledgeΒ in cloud based micro services design and architecture
→Strong understanding ofΒ RESTfulΒ API designΒ and client consumption
→Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical and organizational
→Ability toΒ learn new technologies as needed
→Time managementΒ prioritization skills, and ability to manage expectations effectively when handling multiple assignments simultaneously with competing deadlines
→Exceptional attention to detail, excellent work ethic and drive, great interpersonal skills, team oriented, and demonstrated problem-solving skills
→Fundamental understanding ofΒ bug tracking, versioning and repository systems
Preferred skills/qualifications:
→Fundamental understanding of sequence design process (waterfall) and agile software development process methods
→General experience with the MEAN technology stack, focusΒ onΒ AngularJSΒ andΒ React
→Fundamental use of standard digital tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Omnigraffle, Balsamic)
→Fluency inΒ server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
→Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Stash/GitHub and Perforce
→Fundamental understanding of key usages ofΒ Confluence,Β JiraΒ Bug Tracking,Β Jira Agile (GreenHopper)Β and versioning and repository systems
→Working knowledgeΒ withΒ behavior-drivenΒ development (BDD), unit-testing frameworks like Jasmine or SinonJSΒ and automatized functional testing infrastructures
→ExposureΒ in Spring MVCΒ using Java
→Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such asΒ Gimp or Photoshop
