Required Qualifications Skills:-
- Bachelor’s / master s degree in computer science engineering/technology or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills
- Additional weightage for contributions made to open-source projects, blogs, forums etc. in relevant technologies.
- Proficient in programming languages like Python and SQL.
- Exposure to big data technologies (e.g., Apache Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Basic understanding of tools like Docker, Airflow, Git etc is a plus.
- Cloud Certification is a plus.
Job description Responsibilities:-
As a part of BCG X Data Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, systems, and solutions that empower our clients to make informed business decisions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
Data Pipeline Development:
- Collaborate with client and consulting teams to grasp and understand data requirements.
- Construct and maintain robust, efficient, and reliable data pipelines.
- Develop scripts for data transformation, integration, aggregation and automate manual processes, optimize data delivery with scalable solutions.
Problem solving:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot data-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Analyse and interpret complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues, contributing to the overall success of client projects.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends to bring innovative solutions to clients.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with IT, analytics, and business teams to achieve project goals.
- Participate in client meetings to understand requirements and deliverables.
- Document and communicate technical specifications and project status.
