Job Description :

About the role:

Entry-level Credit Collections / Accounts Receivable professional. Responsible for activities such as billing, credit and collections, invoicing, aging, month-end close and Accounts Receivable reporting in adherence to established policies, procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

    The Collection Associate will be responsible for any combination of the below responsibilities: 

  1. Execute the end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes 
  2. Execute standard and non-standard AR reporting, and distribute (where appropriate) 
  3. Review and Process unallocated credits with the help of Cash application team 
  4. Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status/ Produce routine reports timely and accurate 
  5. Timely Collection.
  6. Execute the collections and dunning process  
  7. Identify accounts due for collection 
  8. Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts 
  9. Take actions to encourage timely debt payments 
  10. Handle customer calls and customer facing communication, to maximize cash collected 
  11. Execute standard dunning, and specialized dunning campaigns 
  12. Manage customer disputes, liaising with the Business where necessary 
  13. Work collaboratively with legal teams and issue guidance on debt provisions 
  14. Execute the management of customer queries  
  15. Apply (and remove) dunning blocks 
  16. Initiate payments and refunds 
  17. Resolve billing and customer credit issues enquiries  
  18. Handle customer calls and dispute logging/management
  19. Undertake root cause analysis, Track and monitor queries through to resolution 
  20. General office support to OTC team 
  21. SOP/DTP creation preparation 
  22. Ensure good cooperation across team
  23. Contribute to operational and strategic process improvements 

Success measures:

  1. KPI/ Goals 

Required knowledge skills:

  1. 0-3  years of experience in B2B collections or similar role 
  2. Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel 
  3. Comfortable working with targets 
  4. Patience and ability to manage stress 
  5. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Solid communication skills, able to  prioritize and open to be flexible. 
  6. Willing to work in Night Shifts and Voice process
