Required Qualification Skills:-

For Business Analyst – Data Analyst Role:

1. Master s degree in research, statistics, math, economics, or related analytical discipline
2. Fresher from a good institute or university or relevant work experience in data analytics domain
3. Curiosity is a must.
4. Proficiency with analytical and presentation tools (Excel, VBA, power point)
5. Highly analytical: natural aptitude at gathering, analyzing and leveraging large data sets to make key business decisions
6. Should be good with Basics statistics
7. Should have can-do mindset
8. Knowledge of R, Python, Tableau, Power BI is good to have

For Business Analyst Role:

1. Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, etc.
2. Experience in any of the following areas: a) Consumer Banking business/product (cards, loans, mortgages) Data Quality/Governance b) Regulatory/Risk Data Quality/Governance (ex: (CCAR, FDIC, and Basel).
3. Technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
4. Able to cultivate robust working relationships with the team, peers, and clients.
5. Good interpersonal skills, interacting with clients both on the business side as well as technical specialists.
6. Experience creating Business Requirements and Functional Requirements Documentation.
7. Relevant experience as a Business Analyst
8. Knowledge of SQL or any other programming
9. MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant, or FRM certification

Job Description Responsibilities:-

For Business Analyst – Data Analyst Role:

1. Responsible for data extraction, collation and cleaning in MS excel/ access
2. Will be responsible for making the pricing data in ERP up to date. For this he/ she will have to identify the activities to be carried out and then execute those activities
3. Will be responsible for carrying out ad hoc pricing analytics requests
4. Will be responsible for carrying out various statistical and pricing analysis in excel/ access.
5. Will be responsible to bring process efficiencies through digitization and implementation of relevant machine learning algorithms
6. Expected to support the client on data systems and analysis
7. Use statistical tools to sanitize, segment and normalize historical pricing information and master invoice data sets to provide visibility to price rate distribution

For Business Analyst Role:

1. In the areas of credit / market / operations / liquidity / IRRBB / capital etc. risks, you will be responsible for creating various daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly / annual / etc. reports. Primary activities will be one or more of these:
2. Data Preparation/Update Perform required calculations on data, creation of standard reports and exhibits/schedules, workpaper roll forward
3. Data Aggregation Request necessary data, aggregate data into the tool, review uploaded data, prepare data for reporting
4. Data Adjustments Review and confirm tolerance thresholds are met, a complete adjustment in aggregation layer, apply topside adjustments, apply record adjustments
5. Data Analytics Perform variance analysis, establish, and update analytics dashboards
6. Data Reconciliation Perform and review data reconciliation
7. Documentation Management Apply appropriate naming convention and ensuring documentation is saved to the correct location
