Main responsibilities:-
As part of the Data Governance Team, the Data Governance Analyst is responsible for reviewing information for accuracy, and loading that information into the various Optimas data systems within agreed upon time-frame. This role is critical to achieving corporate goals by establishing the correct system parameters that allow the company to effectively purchase, stock and sell parts.
The Data Governance Analyst will:
- Understand the basic company work flow in order to determine if requests meet existing company guidelines and policies
- Review data submitted for accuracy and applicability
- Accurately enter approved data elements into the various Optimas data systems
- Ensure requests are completed on time and accurately
- Communicate effectively with all employees and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
- Effectively manage the flow of information among various applications
- Contribute to any reporting and analytical requirements when necessary
- Carrying out necessary follow-ups to ensure closure of requests.
- Identifying red flags in inaccurate data or processes and escalating/highlighting where required
