Senior Associate, Mr. Tan, is unable to attend the meeting with one of his clients at Shangri-La Hotel tomorrow at 5.30 pm as he does not feel like attending it. This meeting was set since late January and the client is looking forward to meet him. Write mail to the client and explain the situation.
I would like to inform you that I won’t be able to make it to the meeting at the Shangri-La Hotel at 5:30 pm tomorrow because I have been keeping unwell since yesterday evening. Due to high temperature and severe cough, the doctor has advised going for further tests tomorrow.
I understand this meeting has been set since January and I know you had been looking forward to it for a long. I really apologise for the inconvenience caused on my end, and we will surely reschedule this meeting as soon as possible.
I hope you understand that postponing the meeting is the best option in this situation for the betterment of all.
