Subject: Request for the remitting the time for returning the books late.

I am a student of X-A (Roll No. 4), I am writing you this letter to request an extension in the book returning dates. I issued a few books from the library for research work for a case study competition, due to the Covid the competition got postponed to 3rd March. I was supposed to return the books by 10th Febuary but for the research work i need a 1 week extension. Therefore, I require a one week extension on submission date.

I would be very grateful if the returning date could be extended.
