REQUIREMENTS:–

1. Requires a Degree in BBA/BBM/BCom or any equivalent discipline.
2. Fresher or a min of 1-year previous experience in Pricing/Costing.

SKILLS CERTIFICATIONS:–

1. Possess strong attention to detail skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
2. Ability to multi-task, type data for long periods of time
3. Effective time management
4. Strong problem-solving skills
5. Able to use, read, interpret spreadsheets, printed reports and terminal screens.
6. PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment; proficient with internet, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and other software
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
8. Skill evaluation: Math 90%, Spelling 90%, Advanced Excel 70%, Typing 40 WPM

ACCOUNTABILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:–

The Costing Associate performs data entry, updating part numbers, creating spreadsheets, part number purchasing analysis and communication with internal customers via email to support the Products, Pricing, Asset and Accounting teams.

1. Responsible for formatting vendor price lists for entry into Mouser systems.
2. Reviewing vendor price lists and identify information pertinent to product investment, pricing, lifecycle, etc.
3. Analysis of vendor price lists and the differences between new data and the existing system data.
4. Responsible for preparing vendor price list data to update corresponding records in the system.
5. Perform part builds for suppliers wherein there are no Mouser part numbers in the system.
6. Detailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking abilities while participating in the total quality process.
7. Ability to communicate, professionally and effectively, with all levels of the organization internally and with external customers.
8. Solid understanding of Cost Updates processes and guidelines.
9. Receive and format vendor price lists for entry into Mouser systems.
10. Review vendor price lists and identify information pertinent to product investment, pricing, lifecycle, etc.
11. Perform analysis of vendor price lists and the differences between new data and the existing system data
12. Prepare vendor price list data to update corresponding records in the system
13. Perform data entry using various computer programs, spreadsheet or database commands and format material as required.
14. Detailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking abilities while participating in the total quality process.
15. Ability to communicate, professionally and effectively, with all levels of the organization internally and with external customers.
16. Trustworthy and maintains confidentiality.
17. Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
