Subject: Regarding the exploitation of teachers
Dear Sir,
Through your esteemed column, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities and citizens regarding the exploitation teachers are facing in privately owned schools.
On September 5th, it was in the news how the privately owned and managed schools in small towns or even in the suburbs of metropolitan cities exploit their teachers by paying them just a fraction of their authorised salary. This affects the performance of teachers in the classroom. Teachers are the main aspect of teaching, and they must get a fair chance of getting money and the right salary. This affects students and spoils their performance in the future.
I hope this reaches the right audience and the right measures are taken against those doing it wrong.
Thanking You!
Yours Sincerely
Navtej
