Subject: Suggestions to make SUPW effective in real life.

Respected Sir,

I am Puneet Mishra, a student of Grade XII. I would like to bring to your notice that the curriculum of SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) is not at all productive in real life. 

Some changes need to be made to make the efforts effective. SUPW is no doubt very useful and a great initiative but for some reason, it is not serving the purpose. Students can be taken to the real farmers for learning gardening techniques instead of doing it in pots in the school, textile industries can be visited to get hands-on experience on printing, weaving techniques etc. instead of learning basic needlework skills which are already taught in middle school. Culinary skills can be polished by visiting hotels and local dhabas to learn different cuisines. 

I hope I was able to explain my point of view on how SUPW can be made effective in real life. Hoping to see some actions taken on the same.
