Sir,
Through the esteemed columns of the national Newspaper, The Hindu, I want to convey a message to the people of India. Despite all the awareness about gender descrimination, there is still a lot of descrimination in the urban areas. Women and girls are subdued and restrained from their basic rights and are a usual victim of office politics.
They are blamed for most blatant matters and are usually given less salaries at work because they are considered a liability. They aren’t given as much freedom as the men in the house to roam around and are usually treated badly. The struggles of the people who worked hard for women’s rights are going in vain.
I hope the people understand the graveness of this issue and act on the issue.
