Sir,
Through the columns of the esteemed newspaper, The Hindustan Times, I want to draw attention to the increase in accidents and deaths caused by those under age. They are being a menace on the streets because of their reckless driving. The offenders usually hit and run.
They have no regard for pedestrian safety or traffic rules. Even after being caught, no strict action is being taken against them. They continue to cause accidents on the street every day.
Every year, several accidents happen, people get seriously injured or lose their life because of reckless driving. I hope the civic authorities and the police take serious action on traffic offenders.
