Subject: Frequent power failure.
Sir,
I am the secretary of the Harmony Residents’ Welfare Association. I want to express the discomfort we are facing through the columns of the esteemed newspaper, The Herald. There are frequent power failures in the residents and also around the area. I have complained to the authorities responsible for the rectification but it was all in vain. Electricity might not be a basic necessity for survival but it is a service that is needed in urban areas.
Frequent Power cuts in our area are disrupting the routine they follow, their children cannot study during the evening, the motor used for storing water in the tank won’t work without electricity.
through the columns of your newspaper please express our discomfort so that the authorities take notice and respond immediately to our problem.
